Musically trained since grade school, Bobby Jasso (HA-so) has studied voice, piano, trumpet, guitar, and drums. Bobby's childhood diet of Motown, Spanish, and English bubble-gum pop music was radically altered in junior high when his older sister's boyfriend gave him a copy of KISS "Alive!"

"Talk about a life-changing experience," Bobby recalls, "...it felt like my soul came alive and screamed the realization into me that entertaining--creating and performing--was how I needed to communicate with the rest of the world, for the rest of my life. And so I very curiously set out on this life quest."

The excitement of performing in high school marching band and youth choirs in his home state of Texas, was enough to prompt further Performing Arts training at University of Texas--Pan American (then Pan American University) like Voice, Music Theory, Acting, Directing, and Speech For Stage and Screen. Having passed an audition with the university's Vocal Department, Bobby was granted a Lyric Tenor position with the Rio Grande Valley Symphony Chorale, where, remarkably enough, he found himself singing right next to his then private voice coach.

While this wealth of choral and music training and experience has certainly provided Bobby with many dependable performance skills, those he is especially thankful for having developed are, "reading music, and a strong ear...definitely."

Having studied Seth Rigg's Speech-Level Singing Technique, upon moving to Los Angeles, Bobby received a "...great voice, great use of technique..." assessment from Mr. Riggs. Throughout Bobby's 3 1/2+ octave range, he can execute powerful, soaring passages as easily as those more subtle and intimate. One may notice the diversity of his influences - from Brandon Boyd (Incubus), Bono (U2), Lenny Kravitz, and Marc Anthony, to Geoff Tate (Queensryche), Mike Patton (Faith No More), and Zack De La Rocha (Rage Against The Machine).

Bobby's citizen-of-the-world road motto is: "Have fun, will travel." And he backs this up with an updated passport ever at the ready.

Learning early in his career that art is seldom independent from commerce, Bobby continually acquires training and experience not just in Performing Arts, but in technical production and business management, also. He coupled his Bachelor Of Arts in Media Communication and Production with a Comprehensive Audio/Video Recording Engineering and Music Business Program at Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts in Orlando, Florida.

Using skills he learned in recording Engineering school, Bobby's even gone so far as to have designed his own staging--the likes of which have never been implemented before--that will allow him to take those risks necessary to connect even further with an audience.

Having always been driven by a never-stop-growing mindset, Bobby is a self-confessed workaholic health nut who lives for the creative process. Indeed, for this uniquely well-rounded musician-lyricist-actor can only be the product of a life-long passion for creative curiosity.
